Teaching through Drama

Drama truly is a wonderful way to learn — one that engages students on so many levels. Social skills are developed while topics ranging from geography to math and music are covered, all this while students are having fun! Drama in the classroom can be particularly effective with students who are active learners, but all children (and their teachers) will appreciate the experience.

You are welcome to browse this section for ideas on how drama is used in the classroom, and on how to present a production to the community.

We are also offering a free sample play from our upcoming collection:

Story of Colonel John By, Builder of the Rideau Canal
